Hello! My name is Sierra Lux-Jurek. I am originally from Buffalo, New York, but I have lived in the Washington D.C. metro area on-and-off for most of my life. I am deeply passionate about travel, and make it a rule to travel abroad once per year. So far, I've visited Canada, Ireland, Scotland, and England. Next summer, I'll be visiting Iceland and Italy.

In my spare time, I like to get creative. I spend a great deal of time sewing, but I haven't quite mastered it, yet! I also write fiction for both children and adults. I'm passionate about literature and literacy -- my library cards get worn out quickly!

I'm a serious history buff. My favorite time periods are Victorian England and medieval France, but I absolutely love learning about any culture and time period!
